removi is a browser extension that helps you find and delete online accounts that you no longer want. You install it, you choose the accounts to close, and it does the work on your own device. You pay once. There is no subscription.

These terms are the agreement between you and removi for the extension, the online services that it connects to, and this website. When you install or use removi, you agree to these terms.

These terms cover the removi browser extension, the online services that it connects to, and the website at removi.me ("removi", "we", "us"). If you have a question about these terms, email [email protected].

removi reads your inbox on your own device to find the services that you have accounts with. For the accounts that you choose, it does the steps to close them. It sets a temporary password that it keeps only in memory, asks the website to delete the account, and follows the confirmation that the website sends.

You choose which accounts are closed. removi never deletes an account that you did not select, and you can stop at any time.

When you use removi, you confirm that:

• you own, or have permission to manage, the inbox and the accounts that you ask removi to close;
• you are at least 16 years old;
• you understand that closing an account is permanent, and that you are responsible for the accounts that you choose to delete.

When you delete an account, you can lose data, purchases or access that are connected to it. Check what you can lose before you confirm a deletion.

When you get removi, we give you a personal licence. It lets you use the official removi extension, and the online services that it connects to, for your own email addresses and accounts, within the limits of your plan.

Your licence is for you only. You must not share, sell or transfer it, or use it for other people. We keep all rights that these terms do not clearly give to you.

The removi extension connects to online services that we run for our users. For example, these services send the extension the steps to close an account, and help it complete security checks on some websites. These services are private, and they are not part of the removi source code. You can use them only through the official removi extension, for your own accounts.

You must not:

• use our services in any way other than through the official extension, or help other people do this;
• copy, record, collect, share, sell or publish the information that our services send, for example the steps to close an account;
• make our services, or any part of them, available to other people, apps, websites or services, directly or through another system;
• use our services, or the information that they send, to build or run a product or service;
• go around, or try to go around, any limit on how often or how fast our services can be used, for example by using more than one licence or by changing how the extension works;
• interfere with, overload or try to get access to our services without permission;
• use removi for an inbox or account that you do not own or manage, or for an illegal purpose.

These rules also apply to any changed or rebuilt version of the extension.

If we believe that you broke these terms, we can suspend or end your licence immediately, without notice. We can also block your access to our services, and take any other action that the law allows.

When your licence ends, you must stop using removi. If we end your licence because you broke these terms, we do not have to give you a refund, unless the law says that we must.

removi is a one-time payment for the plan that you choose. There is no subscription. Your first deletion is free, so that you can see removi work before you pay. The prices are on the pricing page. We can change them for new purchases, but a plan that you already bought stays as you bought it.

We publish the removi source code so that anyone can check how removi works. The licence that we publish with the source code controls how you can use the code.

That licence does not give you any right to use our online services, our name or our logo. You must not use the removi code, or a changed version of it, in a commercial product or service, unless its licence clearly allows this.

removi works with real websites that we do not control, and these websites can change how account deletion works at any time. We work to keep removi reliable, but we cannot promise that every account can be closed, or that a website will not change. We provide removi "as is", without any guarantees other than those that the law requires.

As far as the law allows, removi is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that comes from your use of removi, and our total liability is limited to the amount that you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not let us limit.

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is important, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you. If you continue to use removi after a change, you accept the new terms.
